The Anger Management Specialist program is designed to assist the students in becoming certified as an Anger Management Specialist.

GKMTI curriculum uses evidence-based interventions and has been well on its way to becoming one of the top anger management programs available. 

GKMTI training utilizes various models of anger management skills and techniques to assist you in individualizing your client’s care.

 

Learning Objectives:

  • To help participants help others manage their anger and control their responses to anger
  • Help clients reduce their number of negative outbursts
  • Prevent emotional hijacking
  • Learn coping strategies and mindfulness meditation
  • Promote self-awareness, preventative strategies, social skills, and personal development
  • Evaluate perception, values, thought management, and conditioning
  • Learn about the cognitive behavioral approach and dysfunctional thinking.
